the forest, the strand, the sea… by Nicola LeFanu is a contemporary work for Solo Piano. This fantasy was commissioned by James Willshire, to be part of a programme celebrating the natural world. A lifetime of delight in exploring the outside world is reflected in the title. It was first performed by James Willshire on 26 March 2022 at St Philip and St James’ Church, Leckhampton, Cheltenham.
