It was thus a great personal thrill to play through Edward Higginbottom's wonderful arrangement of this piece, so sensitively presented for SATB, including baritone and soprano solos. There are, indeed, a very appealing variety of textures within this arrangement . . . There is no doubt that, in this work, Higginbottom has brought new life to an already much-loved melody. It is a relatively straightforward piece to perform, not making any real technical demands and I am sure it will be a winner from an audience point of view
