Lang Lang Piano Book
Internationally renowned pianist Lang Lang has collaborated with British publisher Faber Music to create his latest sheet music publication titled Lang Lang Piano Book. The sheet music in this book accompanies his eagerly awaited new solo album Piano Book with Universal Group and Deutsche Grammophon. The same pieces can be found in both the book and on the CD.

About Lang Lang
Globally acclaimed piano virtuoso Lang Lang has sold millions of albums worldwide, topping classical charts whilst simultaneously achieving mainstream success. He has given sold out performances at concert halls around the globe with some of the world's top orchestras and conductors. He has performed not only to his fans but also to world leaders, dignitaries and monarchs including former President Barack Obama, Pope Francis and Queen Elizabeth II. He was the first Chinese Artist to be nominated for the 'Best Instrumental Soloist' Grammy award in 2007 and has also previously been named as one of the top 100 most influential people in the world by TIME magazine. Lang Lang Piano Book
Featuring all 29 pieces from the album Piano Book, Lang Lang Piano Book is a collection of the repertoire that first inspired Lang Lang to play the piano. A beautifully presented high-end cased book, featuring marbled papers, page-finder ribbon and sewn binding; the book also includes exclusive photographs and comments from Lang Lang on every piece, including an edition of Für Elise annotated with the pianist’s own performance notes. Through Lang Lang Piano Book he hopes to "motivate pianists to enjoy and remain focused during their daily practice.” The collection gathers together many of the miniatures that generations of amateur pianists have grown up with, from Czerny’s studies and Clementi’s Sonatinas that were part of Lang Lang’s own daily routine, to miniature masterpieces such as Für Elise, and Bach’s Prelude No 1 in C. Alongside these are modern classics such as Valse d’Amelie and Sakamoto’s music for Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence as well as folk pieces from around the world, such as Sweden’s Limu, Limu, Lima and the popular Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower. Lang Lang holds all these short pieces in the highest regard, believing them to be classics in their own right and deserving of the same attention as major works.
