The jazz group Alfie! invites you on a musical journey through the timeless melodies of Burt Bacharach. With their debut album ‘The Songs of Burt Bacharach’, the band moves from local stages to the studio to deliver a passionate tribute to one of pop music's most famous composers. Having enchanted audiences in the Stockholm region with their brilliant renditions of American classics, Alfie! have now created an entire album dedicated to Burt Bacharach's music.

The song ‘The Look of Love’ got the idea rolling and soon the repertoire consisted solely of Bacharach's timeless melodies. Burt Bacharach is one of the most popular composers: with his expressive melodies and original harmonic twists, he shaped an entire era from the 1960s onwards. His music has had and continues to have many interpreters: from Dionne Warwick to Frank Sinatra. Alfie! explores Bacharach from a jazz perspective, lovingly reworking his melodies and Hal David's lyrics. We hear cult songs such as ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head’, “Walk on By”, “Close to You” and many others.
