Formed in 1975 in Manchester, England, DELEGATION enjoyed strong periods of success in different markets during the late 70s and early 80s. Championed by song writer and producer Ken Gold (The Real Thing, Billy Ocean, Ritz etc.) who, along with partner Mickey Denne have written multiple soul and pop hits, Delegations classic recordings have been distilled in to a two-disc anthology collection celebrating one of the UKs greatest soul groups. Affectionately known as The Godfather of Brit-Soul by international fans, original member and lead singer Rickey Bailey continues to write, perform and tour all over the world with the Delegation band to this day.
