The Yamaha YAS-480 model is the first upgrade from their flagship 280 model, ideal for the advancing player. It has a broad, rich, open and expressive sound and is the ideal instrument to take your playing to the next level.

The YAS-480 benefits from some new features which, whilst small, really give this horn the edge. A new neck receiver allows a possible crook upgrade later and is modelled on the pro 62 series. The new B/C# connection also ensures better mechanical performance and adds to the already positive and competent key action found on all Yamahas.

The YAS-480 represents Yamaha's usual excellence in build quality and is a great step-up option for intermediate players or perhaps an adult who is playing for fun and wants a higher quality feel and tone.
