The CLP-735 also gives the true feel of an escapement mechanism found in grand piano action. In a grand piano escapement, when the hammer is thrown it is then separated from the key to allow the strings to vibrate freely. The CLP-735 features thirty-eight voices, including two forte-piano voices (Mozart Piano and Chopin Piano).

This piano features enhanced Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) technology, intelligent acoustic control, and an acoustic optimiser. VRM intricately stimulates the full sympathetic sounds created by the overlapping resonance of the strings and body of a grand piano.

Other features of the CLP-735 include the piano room feature, allowing you to customise the sound and touch response of piano voices and instantly call up optimum settings for piano performance with a single button. Available effects like reverb and chorus also give you greater and richer expressive capability.

Through binaural sampling and the stereophonic optimiser, great sound can be achieved even through headphones.
