Hardly any other work presents such fascinating conundrums as the Requiem by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mozart himself died while working on the piece, and it was completed by his student, Franz Xaver Süßmayr. But the Amen fugue after the Lacrymosa ends after 14 bars.
