‘The Piano Framed’ is a selection of new recordings for solo piano from multi award winning composer, George Fenton. These include The Blue Planet for which he won a BAFTA, Emmy and Ivor Novello award and Dangerous Liaisons (nominated for an OSCAR and BAFTA). Other tracks include You’ve Got Mail, Groundhog Day, Shadowlands (Ivor Novello win) and The Lady in The Van. The album is performed on a Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano by Simon Chamberlain who is one of the UK's most sought after pianists (John Barry, Paul McCartney, Hans Zimmer, Elmer Bernstein, Danny Elfman..).
Recent work by George includes the score for Ken Loach's 'Sorry We Missed You', 'Cold Pursuit', 'Red Joan', Alan Bennett's new Talking Heads series on the BBC and at London's The Bridge Theatre and Andy Tennant's new film, 'The Secret: Dare To Dream'.
